What is the secret to growing a business?

What is the secret to growing a business?
Is there a magical path that works for every person every time?
I don’t know about you…
But I’m not convinced.

“Do this and you’ll 10X your business.”
“Here’s the route to your first 6 figure month.”
“This will guarantee you 20 sales leads a week.”

I mean…
Maybe it works for some people.
Maybe it works for some businesses.

But it hasn’t been my experience.

I have found that there is no shortcut to growth.
That replicating someone else’s formula isn’t reliable.

At least not in the kind of business I am trying to build.

My path to growth has been finding my people.
Those who care about business being a force for good.
Meeting them.
Building relationships with them.
And then exploring if us working together will help us both to create a better world.

This isn’t a quick route.
It takes time.
It involves hanging tight and trusting you’re doing the right thing.
But it’s sustainable.
It suits my personality.
It’s what enabled me to go on maternity leave, come back, and pick my business up again rather than starting from scratch.

Figure out what works for you.
Learn to block out the noise.
Trust your instincts.
This is your business.
Your life.
And no is better placed than you to decide what your path to growth will look like.
